My dance teacher took my hand and brought me up on stage to see how it looked just before it was my turn — that is a moment I will always cherish and never forget. I still remember how being up there made me feel; proud and overjoyed. I have looked forward to the recital every single year since then as a time when I can grow and shine.
I wanted to share this story with you because I want you to know how memorable an experience the recital is, and what it does for a child’s self-confidence. Not all students will have the exact same experience I did, but there is a good chance they will come off the stage feeling proud of themselves, more confident, and overjoyed with the feeling that people APPLAUDED for them and loved them.
After coming to class each week and learning how to listen and move and enjoy dance, the culmination at the recital is a great reward and boost of self-confidence I feel every student deserves to have. I am honored to be a part of that experience with our Starpath students whom I have grown to deeply care for. If you have any questions or concerns on ANY subject of your child’s dance and the recital it is important you bring them to my attention. Please do give me a call or email me for a personal meeting.
I am so grateful that I have these memories and know that the recital experience was part of building my character and confidence. I am thrilled to share that with your child!
Leaps of Love,
