Stars of the Stage is Starpath Dance Academy’s musical theatre program, designed for performers who are passionate about singing, acting, dancing, and being part of a creative ensemble experience.
Stars of the Stage provides performers with opportunities to develop their skills in musical theatre through acting, vocal training, choreography, and performance experiences. While we work toward creating exciting productions, we believe the most meaningful growth happens throughout the journey.

Requirements
- Audition Required - Stars of the Stage welcomes performers of all experience levels who are interested in exploring musical theatre. Students are encouraged to join with a willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow as performers.
- Weekly Rehearsals - Performers participate in weekly rehearsals focused on developing acting, singing, dancing, and performance skills. Rehearsals provide dedicated time to learn material, build confidence, and prepare for the final production.
- Commitment to the Full Production Experience - Stars of the Stage is designed for performers who are ready to be part of a collaborative theatre experience. Performers and families commit to weekly rehearsals, preparation outside of rehearsal, performances, and the dedication needed to support the entire cast.
- Performance Preparation - Throughout the season, performers work together to develop characters, learn choreography, practice vocals, and strengthen storytelling skills in preparation for the final production.
- Costumes & Performance Items - Families are responsible for required costumes, shoes, accessories, and any additional performance items needed for productions. These items help ensure performers are prepared and confident on stage.
- Positive Ensemble Participation - Performers are expected to contribute to a supportive and respectful environment by encouraging fellow cast members, working collaboratively, and embracing their role within the production.
- Final Performance Commitment - Performers showcase their hard work through a final production performance, celebrating the creativity, growth, and accomplishments of the entire cast.
