I've Been Waiting for Christmas
Read by Karina Sainani
I've been waiting for Christmas,
And it's almost here
I've been waiting for Christmas,
Santa's getting near!
Can't you hear the sleigh bells ringing?
Reindeer up so high.
Can't you hear the children singing,
As they watch the sky?

Christmas Snow
Written by Denise Rodgers
Read by Sophie Shah
There's one thing you have to know;
At Christmas time, it has to snow.
The ground must fill with fluffy white
To soften up the cold, dark night.
It helps out Santa, that white snow,
Reflecting off the moonlight glow.
It makes us feel so snug instead,
When we’re inside our soft, warm bed.
Although this image is so true
And makes much sense to me and you,
We have to pause and say, “Ahem –
There’s rarely snow in Bethlehem.”
If this thought sets you aback,
Don’t let it take you off your track.
For when you spy a shining star,
It’s Christmas time right where you are.

Santa's Favorite
Written by Denise Rodgers
Read by Ella LeFave
We’ve been baking cookies
for when Santa comes to visit.
Some chocolate chip,
some shortbread snaps.
His favorite? Well, what is it?
I guess we’ll know on Christmas Day
when we run down the stairs.
We will know his favorite
is the one that isn’t there!

Wrapping for Christmas
Written by Paul Rava
Read by Mikayla Kaplowitz
Boxes and boxes,
More boxes and bags!
It’s time to start wrapping.
Grab the bows and the tags!
Turn on Christmas carols.
Set the holiday spirit.
Make sure to wrap quick,
So no one sees it or hears it!
When the gifts are all wrapped,
This year will be great.
No peeking, no sneaking,
You’ll just have to wait!
My mind starts to wonder,
Have I been good this year?
Was I nice to my siblings?
Did I bring others cheer?
Will Santa remember me?
And I still want to know,
When Christmas is over,
Where do Christmas trees go?
But for now I’ll enjoy
The dancing and clapping.
‘Tis the season for joy,
And bright Christmas wrapping.

Spirited Christmas
Written and read by Elizabeth McCabe and Lizzy Romohr
Christmas is here, Christmas is near
20 more days til Christmas
Town bells ring, sleigh bells sing
While others will bring
Making the sun rise with jolly
Everyone has their Christmas trees up
Waiting for Santa to put presents under the tree
Christmas tree fields are open with tons of trees
With milk and cookies waiting on Santa
While he's making toys for tons of kids
Candy canes twist, candy canes swirl
Did you notice the candy canes dance while we sleep
Not making a peep, these little dancers are nice
Stay up late, look at them once or twice

Christmas Day
Written by Denise Rodgers
Read by Sreyanshi Sen
There's something special in the house
It happens Christmas Day
The toys are out, the coffee's on
It's time for rest or play
All the Christmas running's done
The gifts were bought, the battles won
The goose was cooked and eaten up
The coffee's hot inside Dad's cup
The miracle of life appears
To bless our family every year
And so I give my wish to you
To bless your happy family, too
Happy Christmas!
